Aaron’s stoneware pottery is intended to be functional and aesthetically pleasing at the same time. He grew up in Moab, Utah surrounded by wild and beautiful country. Aaron has both a BA in Art History, and BFA in Photography from the University of Utah. For the past eight years Aaron has produced high fired stoneware pottery for daily use, one of a kind pieces for gallery sales, and sold at an average of twelve art festivals a year. Clay dug in Aaron’s backyard provides a glaze used on many pots. This clay gives the dark green splashes on brown glazed pots. Recently, Aaron has glazed porcelain pots exclusively with the green clay glaze, resulting in a beautiful celadon effect.
