Steve Osback has been making jewelry for more than twenty years here in Scottsdale. He’s won first place in several state competitions over the years, including a first place ribbon from the Arizona State Fair in jewelry manufacturing and design.
Using the lost wax method, Steve uses gold and silver inlaying each piece with semi-precious stones, most of them found locally in Arizona. Azurite, Malachite, Turquoise, or the unique natural mixture of Malachite and Azurite from the southeast portion of the state are used to enhance the metal’s architecture. Diamonds and other precious stones are used in addition to the semi-precious stones to bring out the beauty of each piece.
Steve has participated in a multitude of arts, crafts and jewelry shows across Arizona, Colorado and California and continues to display his art work in gift shops and galleries across the country.
