Multi-talented Arizona native Alan Briggs is an accomplished musician as well as a gifted watercolorist; he performed with the Phoenix Symphony, among others, for several years. A lifelong interest in the visual arts led him to study with many of the country’s finest watercolor artists, including Diane Maxey, Dick Phillips, Tom Lynch, Timothy Clark, Wei Tai, Frederick Wong, and Marilyn Simandle. His works hang in private collections throughout the nation.
Mr. Briggs lives in Phoenix, AZ. He has been actively creating and selling his art for the past 12 years. He studied with many on the finest water media artists in the country and also pursued studies at the Scottsdale Artist School. Alan shows his art in galleries and at art shows through out the South West. At this time he is working primarily with southwest textures and their relationship to each other.
