Miro Kenarov is a Bulgarian-born U.S. artist currently residing in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He received his MFA from the National Academy of Fine Arts in Sofia Bulgaria in 1988.
In his native country Miro worked in the fields of book illustration, graphic design, and printmaking. His deep interest in the technique of stone lithography led him to the Tamarind Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In 1993, Miro started his adventure in the New World as an American artist. He has worked as a graphic artist, art director, producer, and a freelance artist for a number of U.S. companies, such as Reddy News Corp., ScienTech, Inc. BIOS Group, Prowess Software, TRW, and Northrop Grumman.
In 2001, Miro moved his family to Santa Fe. Along with his wife Maria, a ceramic artist, he has build a new home and studios in the “Land of Enchantment.”
Miro regularly participates in major art festivals and art shows in the Southwest and around the country.
