Sadegh was born in Shiraz, Iran with a natural talent for drawing and a well-defined color sense. His first love has always been art and he continues to stay active in this field. He opened his own gallery and taught art classes in his hometown, then began traveling extensively throughout Europe, keeping in his memory the many different and beautiful areas through which he traveled. These scenes influenced his paintings while he lived in Europe. He moved to the United States in 1984 and has since held many one-man shows and worked with many galleries. It’s in the Los Angeles area that Sadegh’s artistic career seems to have truly come to fruition. Sadegh’s two distinct painting styles – acrylic and oil – have been influenced by the works of Matisse and Picasso. He uses bright and vibrant colors to produce his wonderfully animated figures. His paintings are cheerful and energetic.
