Mario Cespede’s paintings are inspired by the Andes Mountains and the Amazon River in S. America. He uses colors and textures to portrait the magic and the soul of his homeland in a contemporary style. Mario’s artwork claims national and international recognition.
Several articles have been written about his artwork by art magazines and newspapers such as Southwest Art, Southwest profile Journal do Brazil, the Arizona Daily, Los Angeles Times and others. His murals are displayed on the walls of the Graham Library at 1900 E. Firestone Blvd and the outdoor mural at Chandler Blvd. commissioned by The County of Los Angeles and The Valley S. Regional Arts Council, L.A.
