Sharon was born in Brooklyn, and has lived in New York, California and Maryland. Currently she is an attorney with the law offices of Paula J. Peters, P.A. in Annapolis Maryland. In addition to her work as a family lawyer, Sharon is an adjunct professor at George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management where she teaches courses on Political Leadership. From 1995 to 2006, Sharon served in the Maryland General Assembly, first as a Delegate then as a State Senator.
Sharon has always been interested in photography, so after retiring from the legislature she began to seriously focus her time on her passion for photographing nature, wildlife, architecture, religious sites and symbols. Sharon uses digital photography then enhances her pictures on her computer, playing with color and dimension to create a unique image. Her philosophy is that the photograph should evoke intense emotion about its subject matter.
Sharon travels extensively throughout the world and is rarely seen without her camera.
