Greta Manville, a resident of Arizona transplanted from California’s Bay Area, writes mystery and suspense novels and participates in both writers’ conferences and critique groups.
She has won several first place awards for fiction writing and the grand prize for the Sparrowgrass Forum’s “Poetic Voices of America” contest in 1999. She is the recipient of a John Steinbeck Fellowship at San José State University and is the bibliographer for Steinbeck Review, a semi-annual scholarly journal published by the University. Her extensive research and co-authoring of an annotated secondary bibliography concerned with the life and works of John Steinbeck is now available free online through San José State at www.steinbeck.sjsu.edu. Greta is listed in Marquis Who’s Who.
She has two suspense novels in progress and participates in writers’ organizations:
Arizona Authors Association and West Valley Authors Association
