Tax Info for ArtFest of Henderson:
You will not need to fill out any applications for temporary sales permits for either the city of Henderson or the state of Nevada prior to the start of the festival. You, however, must complete a State of Nevada one-time tax form at the close of the event. Your payment will be due by 7PM on Sunday. Payment must be made by business check or cash. If you have any questions, please call the Nevada Department of Taxation at 702-486-2300.
Temporary Food Permits for ArtFest of Henderson:
Before you apply for the proper food permits it is important to confirm that you have been accepted into the event.
You will need a Temporary Food Establishment Health Permit from Southern Nevada Health District. You will need this permit if you plan on doing any sampling or any cooking on site. They must be submitted at least 7 days before the start of the festival otherwise you will be charged a late fee. If you have any questions regarding the food permit, please call (702) 759-0501.
If you are interested in learning more about the event, please access last year’s application. DO NOT submit the 2009 application. This application is to be used ONLY to gain a better understand about our rules and requirements. All information and prices are subject to change.

Before you apply for the proper tax licenses it is important to confirm that you have been accepted into the event.
City of Scottsdale
You must obtain a sales tax license (Transaction Privilege Sales & Use Tax License) for the City of Scottsdale. Temporary licenses are available for $25.00.
If you are doing multiple shows in Scottsdale you may want to consider obtaining a Permanent Transaction Privilege (Sales) & Use Tax License. Permanent licenses are available for a $12.00 application fee plus an annual fee of $50.00. Please click here to obtain an application. For either tax license applications, you will need to make sure you provide the proper identification. State of Arizona
If you do not already have a valid tax license for the state of Arizona than you will need to get one by filling out a Transaction Privilege (Sales) Tax. There is a one-time charge of $12.00. You can fill out the application on-line at www.aztaxes.gov. If you have any questions concerning taxes please call a representative from the State of Arizona: 602-255-2060 or visit the website at www.revenue.state.az.us.
